It's odd, and somewhat discomforting, how time flies. It's been almost six months since my last post, actually. I guess that at almost 32, I'm in that headspace where you begin to look back upon life and realise that, yes, you DO have limited time to try and do something with your life. At the same time I also realise that as a citizen of the free world, I can afford to think about what is essentially a luxury problem.
That said... I think each of us has a responsibility to make most of what has been given to them. To keep it short (I'm feeling a bit lexically impaired right now, and yet I feel the need to write some of my thoughts down), I've been working hard to get my inking, colouring and compositional skills up to par, and will continue to do so in the new year. In 2012 I've been lucky enough to meet some incredible new friends through Kapow Comic Con, Auto Assembly, and through interacting with people on various forums. Some of these people have been instrumental in keeping my spirits up and encouraging me to get better and better.
Here's to my friends and another fantastic year!
